Nagpur is a significant city in Maharashtra, a state in central India. The Nagpur Central Museum, built in the 19th century, houses indigenous finds like as fossils, sarcophagi, and Mughal weaponry. There are hands-on displays and a planetarium at the Raman Science Centre. An 1817 battle took place at Sitabuldi Fort on the Sitabuldi Hills. The enormous, domed Deekshabhoomi is a Buddhist monument and pilgrimage place to the southwest.
