This three-story prison, built by Britishers in 1906 and designated as a national memorial, is a pilgrimage site for liberation fighters. This massive structure has silently watched the most heinous of barbaric acts perpetrated on the inmates, who were largely liberation fighters. The historic Cellular Jail's Sound and Light Show brings the day to a gentle finish with a realistic experience of its deep affiliation with freedom fighters and their quest for liberation.
